A new advanced topics course for SCORM developers.
In this advanced course the student will learn how to create simple and complex sequencing
rules implementing the latest SCORM Simple Sequencing and Navigation specification. This course
builds upon the knowledge gained in the DiSTI Hands-on SCORM training program and takes the student
into more advanced content design utilizing the full capabilities of the latest SCORM
standards.
Course Objectives
The goal of the course is to provide the students with a practical understanding of SCORM
Simple Sequencing and associated SCORM run-time data elements. Students will review sequencing
components and standards via hands-on exercises to re-enforce the information provided in the
lectures.
Students will examine techniques for creating assessment sequencing, testing out of lessons,
creating assessment to SCO remediation, creating SCO to SCO navigation, creating sequencing using
objectives, and implementing content presentation techniques.
